Marcy Hotz Biography

Marcy Hotz was born and raised on Milwaukee’s northwest side. She graduated from Washington High School and holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. Marcy’s career has included positions in office administration and financial planning. She also worked in Milwaukee’s City Hall as Office Manager for former Mayor Henry Maier and as a Legislative Assistant for the Common Council President. She retired from General Electric in Waukesha after 18 years as an office administrator.

Marcy has been a member of Congregation Emanu-El of Waukesha for nearly 25 years. She served on the Board for about a decade in various roles, including president. In addition, she has chaired and served on numerous committees. She was the Temple’s first Administrator from 2014 to 2016.

Marcy is married and has two grown sons and two grandchildren, a boy and a girl. She and her husband Jim enjoy traveling and are active members of the Badgerland Miata Club. Marcy enjoys gardening, bird watching, wine tasting and astronomy.
