Sisterhood program – “Does the Seder Always Have to be The Same Old Thing??? No! Making the Most out of Your Seder”
March 11, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Tziporah Altman Shafer will present the next Sisterhood virtual program on Thursday, March 11 at 7pm. She is currently the Jewish Education Community Planner of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation and director of Milwaukee’s Coalition for Jewish Education. Her program is entitled, “Does the Seder Always Have to be The Same Old Thing??? No! Making the Most out of Your Seder” During this virtual program, she will discuss ways to make the Seder experience engaging, meaningful, and fun for participants of all ages. There are so many ways to customize a Seder for the benefit of all. In fact, the Rabbis designed the Seder to be interactive in order to meet all learning styles. Come prepared to share your past experiences and to think about your upcoming Seder. She will not be addressing the format of Zoom Seder issues, but rather to assist us to draw on inspiration of our ancestors liberation from Egypt in creative ways.
Whether you see the passover Seder as a meaningful religious event or view it from the perspective of “They tried to kill us. We won. Let’s eat”, this program is for everyone. Note: Please note the change from our usual Tuesday evening to Thursday evening
